Greenware is a incubator of ideas about green application: those software that are built to reduce energy consumption and conseguently carbon footprint impact.
The Open Source is a successfully choice to write efficent application. Our comunity is open to other developers who desire to share knowledge.
Even if could seem strange that our applications are deployed on iPhone/iPod platform, we use an Open Source Framework called cocos2d-iphone. Mainly, cocos2d-iphone is a framework to build games but the resources of the environment are usefull to build application too.
All the applications – developed by Greenware – are distribuited on iTunes, for each commercial version there is always a free/limited edition of the same application.
Even if we have tested a lot our application, the “Murphy Law” is always ready to be applied so we apologyse in advance of every bug or error that you can found during the use of the software. It’s so difficult to replicate a comunity of users!
